F&C Engineers Secures New SeaOne Caribbean FEED Project
F&C Engineers will deliver Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Integration, Commissioning and Startup services for the design of compressed gas liquids containment systems a 400 MMSCFD LNG Liquifaction Facility located in Gulfport, MS. with Regassification delivery points in Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. FCE Scope included the design of LNG storage, refrigeration, and transportation facilities to include: Containment Buildings, Specialized Pipeline Containment Coils for both onshore and barge, Loading/Offloading Manifolds, Production Manifolds, Refrigeration Systems, and Refrigeration Cycle Process Runs. Containment Systems comprised of 0.3 BCF at Gulfport, 1.2 BCF at Dominican Republic, 1.0 BCF at Puerto Rico, and 0.44 BCF on each barge.
Responsibilities included Development of Specifications and Facility Operations Philosophy, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram Development and/or implementation, Equipment and Instrument Datasheets, Pipe Stress Analysis, Hydraulic Calculations and Line Sizing, Refrigeration Process Simulation, SAFE Charts, CE Charts, Piping Model Design, Piping Drawing Review, Utility Consumption Calculations. In addition the same systems are being design to be installed in a Articulated Tug and Barge (ATB). FCE will also develop documentation and provide support for obtaining Class III Cost Estimate for construction of the CGL Containment System. The Compressed Gas Liquid containment pipeline (tanks) are designed in cassettes or modules that can be assembled to create specified capacity.
