Freeman & Curiel Engineers is awarded complete engineering design a Cryogenic Gas Processing Plant by Exterran. Scope on the gas plant includes development from PFDs to detail construction drawings. Freeman & Curiel Engineers also provided construction supervision. Gas Flow design rate is 150 MMSCFD and by-products produced are NGL’s at 18,000 bpd. FCE designed the gas plant with following main equipment: Cryo plant, Amine Plant, Residue Gas Compressors, Flare, Motor Control Center, Control Room, Dehydration/Regeneration, DeMethanizer, JT plant, DeEthanizer, Refrigeration, Utilities, Thermal Oxidizer, pipe line pumps, and storage. The plant equipment is supported on a variety of different foundation types including: octagon foundations, spread foundations, mat foundations, waffle slab foundations, and drilled shafts to a depth ranging from 12 feet to 40 feet below grade for the pipe racks and demethanizer/cold separator tower respectively. Dynamic analysis was carried out on the compressor block foundations to ensure no resonance occurred.
