Freeman & Curiel Engineers is awarded the contract by Valerus to provide engineering for two compressor station designs for Crestwood Midstream Partners LP. The compressor stations, both located in Doddridge County, West Virginia, each have the capacity to handle 120 million standard cubic feet per day (MMscfd) of gas from the Marcellus shale. The complex turnkey design of these process skids plus modularization includes more than 35,000 hp of compression; inlet separation and filtration; gas dehydration; power generation and distribution; and station instrumentation and controls. The compressor stations went online within six months of awarding the engineering contract to Freeman & Curiel Engineers.
True success of this project is reflected in our client’s words:
“Crestwood operations has taken over operations of the Perkins phase 1 station. I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication over the entire project lifecycle. This fast track project has challenged us all often working late hours to meet aggressive deadlines. Our client is extremely impressed of how fast we were able to complete the Perkins Phase 1 project which is why they are asking us to propose future work (repeat business). I look forward to another successful EPC execution on the Victoria Compressor Station and getting "done" at the Perkins Compressor Station (Phase 2).”
